Canutis Breeding
Primarily, Storie is the only person allowed to breed Canutises. On occasion, though, a litter licence and/or hybrid litter license may possibly be created and sold to another lucky Canutis owner. These litter licenses are only good for one litter.
Yes! One litter license is currently up for sale!! The purchase price is $20 or 50 FPP.
If you purchase a license, then the information below will become applicable.
How to Breed Your Canutises [non-hybrid]
1. First of all, in order to breed your Canutises, you must purchase a litter license. If none are currently available, then you may contact Storie and request to be put on the message list. In the case of one or more being available, they may be advertised on one or more of the following websites:

2. Let's say you've purchased a license! You may pay for the license yourself, or if you are breeding your Canutis to another person's Canutis, you both may split the fee if you choose. Of course, you (and your breeding partner, if applicable) must be approved by Storie, and she has the right to refuse any sale.
3. When you are ready to redeem your license, just send Storie a message including your name and the names and images of the Canutises that are to be bred (one male and one female, with no exceptions). No brother/sister or parent/offspring pairs are allowed.
4. The time between the Canutis breeding and the puppies' birth is around five weeks (it's only this fast for art purposes, of course!). Since genetic selection is random in real creatures, the number of pups in your litter (between 1 and 3) and their genotypes will be chosen randomly (derived from the parents' genes, of course).
5. Due to the Canutis being a closed species, Storie must create them and will send them to you when they're born. As soon as the genotypes and phenotypes (the list of colors and markings your Canutis will display) are ready, they will be sent to you and you can make suggestions as to marking coverage and color hues (within the boundaries of that marking, of course). You should be delighted with your puppies, so your suggestions will be welcomed! As the pups age, their weaned and then adult images will be sent to you free of charge.
6. This is the one and only time when a Canutis owner is allowed to sell a Canutis! Once you've received the adult images, you may sell the pups from your litter for either virtual or real currency. However, Storie must be notified of the new owner and sale price for record keeping purposes.

Hybrid Litters
On occasion, Storie may also create a type of license called a hybrid litter license. This license permits you to breed your Canutis to another canine character (still of the opposite gender). Here is how it works:
1. You must purchase your hybrid litter license from Storie! It is a one-time license good for only 1 litter.
2. You may breed your Canutis to any other canine character that is the opposite gender. Due to the pups not being purebred Canutises, Storie does not have to be the artist. However, Storie must approve of the selected character first!
3. As with a regular litter, you are fully permitted to sell the pups in your litter. Please do notify Storie of the new owner(s), though :)
Pretty simple, right?
IMPORTANT: When you buy a hybrid litter license from Storie's you are automatically agreeing to the following:

IMPORTANT: When you buy a hybrid litter license from Storie's you are automatically agreeing to the following:
- Storie must be allowed to post the new pups' images on this website! This is so that she can keep track of all Canutises, whether pure- or half-blooded.
- The hybrid pups CANNOT EVER BE BRED, no exceptions! This rule must be written directly on the pups' references. If the hybrids were allowed to be bred, then the entire Canutis could be compromised as a closed species. I cannot stress how important this is!
All rules and regulations detailed here must be followed in the event of a litter license purchase! If someone intentionally refuses to comply, then they will be banned from all of Storie's future art sales, as well as any Canutis activities. I do not mean to sound harsh - this is just SO important to me!
